We decided that this anime required more love and we feel dedicated to release our own subbing version.
For episode 1, we used TV Tokyo’s raw and the subtitles are physically distorted. Episode 2, we’ll use Alex-Kpek’s raw and for episode 3, Zero-Raws.
We apologize if the standard of the sub is not up to par with your standards. We’ll try to improve the subbing quality episode by episode. T_T

edo: the current version is the same quality with TV-Tokyo RAW, that’s why it’s big. We will release a smaller version soon after episode 2.

@Kaila: Menclave is also doing this anime. They are almost done with the first two episodes. Everything is done except the encoding I hear.

Just an idea, but what if you upload it to a file sharing site, and then release the ep. Some of those that download the ep would likely become seeders for you (like me).

You know, in fansubbing, there’s this process called DISTRO. It’s supposed to help you DISTRIBUTE FILES TO THE WORLD. Since Ocha like to call themself fansubbers, why are they leaving out such key processes?

Edo: Lol. Ok, ok. We know the processes but at the moment we don’t have distro-ers since there’s only 2 of us who’s doing this. Yes, 2 people doing the whole thing. Yes distro is a vital part of fan-subbing, and yes with distro you will get the files faster. The thing is there are better ways to get ones point across then how you said it. How about offering to become a member of the distro team when they create it? I would.

Edo: Lol. Yeah, sorry about that. Originally I only download raw and load the subtitles only for my personal entertainment before we became serious. So, I used the raws that I downloaded and I didn’t bother to download the raws consistently ( MY BAD! Will not do this again. Sorry ). So, we will try to be consistent after this and release smaller avi versions in the future.
I’m sorry but Ocha=Fail is right (to a degree). I’m a scanlator and my (dead)group is(was) only 2 people. Myself and a translator. However I still found others to help with the distro work before serving legions of hungry fans on my not so steady net connection. I hope you guys take this as a valuable lesson seeing how you’re the only ones even releasing TS and it’s not a race.

Even if it is slow I still think it is cool that you guys are subbing this show.
Just an idea but maybe use something like sendspace.com to send it to someone with more bandwidth for seed. I am willing to seeed, but only have maybe 5mB/s up but maybe someone out there with a t1 might be willing to seed for you.
Edo: Currently i’m uploading it to my site, but this country’s internet connection is quite horrible so it’s going to take awhile for it to complete ^_^;

You might need some help.I have 4 comps and 500 kb of available upload bandwidth,along with editing and encoding software.I am,in fact,ONEMANBAND fansubs.I and my translator were releasing Bleach episodes in response to Dattebayos constant whining, but they rarely got viewed because people are locked into DB’s “See me,love me,worship me,I’m a fansub God” cult.Now my translator has jumped ship, so I no longer have anything to do.(I really need a life.)

Thank you very much for subbing Toshokan Sensou. When I first saw the RAW of ep 01, I really wished somebody would sub it but it didn’t seem like it was ever going to happen; the two other groups came along but then just seem to have stopped at 01. Keep up the good work - you also seem like nice people, unlike many other subbing groups who seem to think everyone should worship them and can’t take the slightest hint of criticism.
If you are the initial seeder of a torrent then use the Initial Seeding or Super Seeding mode of your BitTorrent client to ensure faster prorogation.
Just a small question: Will you be using one type of raw or will it always be different? I’m not talking about going from 1080p to 720p but I noticed that episode 2 was x264 while episode 3 was divx.

FYI-I took your sub file and put it on a 704×396 Xvid format for smaller screens. While I adjusted the text size for the smaller screen, I didn’t insert my banner or alter the credits, you deserve your due. However, I did put ONEMANBAND after Ocha! on the torrent label when I put the file on the PirateBay. Sorry about that!

Would love to see this subbed with larger text/font so that it is easier to read. I have a 42″ plasma TV and I have to sit 2 feet from the Tv to read the small text. I’d like to see a re-release with larger text if possible.

Thank you very VERY much for the avi version. The mkv subtitles were messed up for my player, and I’ve found that avis are much more reliable. And GREAT improvement on the readability of the subs.

h264 releases all use softsubs.
Anybody got a clue as to why 33t and Zero raws have gone to that godawful Divx 6.xx, instead of h264? When Divx 6 was still in beta most of the testers told Divx it was a lemon to try to use, that 120 cps was totally unnecessary for screens under 50 inches and that a lot of encoding and subbing software had problems with it. Naturally they ignored us and released anyway, and as yet still haven’t addressed most of the issues that were reported. Converting a Divx 6.xx file back to 24 cps h264 is a real hair-pulling experience.
I suspect they did it because it was the “Newest Thing”, which just shows how silly fads can be.
