Noes! It's too heavy!

First of all, I’m really really sorry. Gomen gomen. >_<

I'm quite aware that we have distro problem and it's quite a serious of a problem. I understand that. This is my first time distributing my torrent file, and please pardon me for that. OTL

For now, what I can do is to "physically" distribute the copy to my coursemates and friends to seed the file. Please bear with me for a while for this 3 episodes. T_T

For the coming releases, we will get a better seeder with a better internet connection. We will set up a DCC bot too. We will try to perform better next time. For those who's willing to seed this anime, your help is deeply appreciated.

Currently i'm HTTP uploading the files to my server, and will distribute it to the dedicated seeders. We receive quite a lot of volunteers so I hope that for the next episode, things will go smoother than this.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience caused. T_T

*update*

Currently I found another server with 40GB transfer limit to accompany my 50GB transfer limit server. Should be good for distro-ing works.

PS: I’m so scared that I refuse to use my computer to make sure my PC doesn’t hang or something which would lead to expected reboot O_O

    awesome, thanks for subbing this.

  2. manu

you could try a web-seed script in php, the files are out there somewhere, shouldn’t be hard to set up. you should have enough bandwidth on the server, though. ;)
oh and thanks for the subs, been waiting for someone to do this, many many thanks

edo: thanks for the suggestion. i still have 50GB unused space, but i’m not sure whether my hosting company will allow it.

  3. ocha, ganbare!

  4. Benjamin Takeyo

    Thanks for the sub!

  5. Jeff

Maybe rapidshare or megaupload could help this situation and then people can seed once they’ve downloaded.

  6. Jokermage

Thanks for telling us about the problem and what you are trying out in order to make things better. Seeing someone communicating this kind of stuff honestly means a lot in this day and age.

  7. XLax

    @Jeff

That wouldn’t work, they have file size limits and these files go over.

  8. thimkthimk

Thought I’d have to wait longer for ep 02 and 03, yet you’ve subbed them! just awesome

  9. Andy

I have a server hooked up to FiOS (I get ~1.2 megabytes per second up and down). I wouldn’t mind seeding for a while.

  10. Andy

P.S. email if you want to contact me; I probably won’t check the comments in a timely fashion

I dunno, it’s been kind of fun watching all us peers grabbing every trickle coming down, stalled at the same percentage. Thank you for doing this!

  12. I tried seeding the anime but only downloaded half way…all my files were around 50 pct for a few hours so i just gave up and removed them… cause i tried downloading your softsub files and just put it in the raw, but even finding the raw’s were challenging so i just gave up lol… great huh? but appreciate yall subbers subbing this, looking forward to download these files in a bit :D

Nice job on the subs, but you seem to need a few pointers:
    1) question mark and exclamation point are not the only punctuation marks; the comma and the period could use some love.
    2) small font is small.
    3) The translation is fine, but many lines seem kinda awkward. It seems like you have someone translate and then another person QC to check grammar only. You’d do well to find someone who is good with words for TL editing.
    4) don’t tell us what you don’t know. If you have no idea what is being referenced, don’t put a TL note saying that you don’t know who is being referenced, especially if it isn’t something important.

    You serious?!?
Come on, pal, don’t waste your precious time apologizing while all you should be doing is receiving our love&gratitude! One-day seeding for new episodes is the norm with some groups, I just sit and wait in that case (well, go out and let my pc do the leeching). Man, you even published your scripts so I could grab a raw and see the 2nd ep in no time! (well… ok, this kind of contradicts my patience thing but… do as I say not as I do;)
    Really, otsukaresama. Unconditionally.
    tex

I agree with the top guy, if people were that impatient dling this, they shouldnt be dling it in the first place.

    But anyway thankyou

  16. Hi fellow malaysian :D

Since I have not been involved in any fansub groups for some 2 months now… I might as well join another fansub group to kill my “hardly boring” Uni’s life. =D

Well yeah, do contact me if you want me to help you in other things apart from anime. Oh yeah, maybe I can help to do a DDL for your subs but well, I bought some crappy webhosts with a lot of space on it but oh… since I stopped doing fansub (or rather STAR-Fansubs seem dead to me after I left them), I used the domain (I bought it lol), for my own craziness used.. haha.. So, might as well help you guys to put your subs on it. BUT, I NEED A DIRECT LINK FIRST because ya know… Uni blocked torrent, mIRC, etc etc etc… *sigh*

That’s all… Just wanna help ya if you really need it. :D

Thanks for this sub , keep the good work :))

Anybody got problems with the Japanese kanji fonts in the OP song Karaoke? All the Japanese characters are in square/blocks (with question marks in it) in the OP Song Karaoke. I have fixed the Japanese characters in the Karaoke in case some of us or everyone got the same problem as I have.

Here the link for the ass file for the subtitles of ep. 3 of Toshokan Sensou:
    http://www.mediafire.com/?lmgiyjdzcyn

Mux/merge the ass file with “MKV merger” with a raw of ep. 3 of the show.

You can fix the Japanese characters by doing the following:
    1. Use “Aegisub” (a free subtitle editor tool) Go to “File” Open the ass file with Charset and open the file selecting “Shift_JIS”

    2. go to “Subtitles” > “Styles Manager” > “Current Script” > “Song Japanese” > click at “edit”, go to “Miscelaneous” > “encoding” > choose “128 - Shift_JIS” (instead of “0 - ANSI”);

    3. save the ass file as UTF-8

This way everyone can see the Japanese OP song Karaoke in Japanese Kanji characters.

By the way, thanks for subbing this amazing Anime!!! And keep up the good work!!!

  19. pd

thanks for the hard work i enjoyed the subs for toshokan sensu

keep up the good work :)

  20. maybe you are missing the font file they r using in the OP…

  21. Polaryzed

No worries mate(s)! I’m glad that someone is finally subbing this. The quality is already above some other groups out there, but you already know that you need improvement, so its all good. Keep making progress. It’ll work out :)

  22. Polaryzed

After marathoning all 3 eps, I’d switch back to the Alek-Kpek raw. The x264 quality is much higher than the divx Zero Raw. The crispness and color of ep 1 and 2 were great. Ep 3 seemed a little washed out and fuzzy. Just a suggestion. Sometimes you have to download all the raws each week to find the best one that week. I know it can be a pain, but like I said, only a suggestion. Keep it up guys! I’m waiting for ep 4!

  23. orko

I agree with Polarized. The group should stick with the x264 RAWs. Groups that are consistent with the quality are more liked, if your encoder is able to do multiple encodes then the better.

    thanks for the subs.

  24. Krrazy

This is the first sub of this series that I’ve found, thanks for doing it! :D once they’ve downloaded, I will definitely help with seeding! :D thanks again!

  25. thank you! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE seed.
