I OVERSLEPT! Oh well, here you go:
Toshokan Sensou 4 (1024×720)
Toshokan Sensou 4 (702×396)
We increased the font size a bit and added karaoke. Played around with encoding settings and until now I’m still not sure whether the setting is good enough. Please comment on it.
Darn, we noticed we typed Kasahara’s name wrongly in one line. Darn. Bad QC! Bad QC!
UPDATE
I received news that some can’t see the subtitles. We found the reason why, and we will not repeat the stupid mistake again. For a quick fix, here’s the subtitle file so you can load it manually:

Also, this and this are suggested ways which may solve this problem.
We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused >_<.

I take it you have solved your Distro problem? I’m still willing to help if you need it. Also, thanks for the episode!
Edo: Wouldn’t hurt to have extra help. Sure ^_^. Emailed you.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks guys
i didn’t know speedsubs HAD qc :O
also.. GAWD. i connect to the torrent and now im like. seeding at 1.5megabyte/s
I’m even across the board, for the most part. Between 50-200Kb/s DL and ditto for the upload, but it would be more if I release the restrictions on the torrent connections.
@ Edo; I got the e-mail, and am seeding now
I have a small favor. Can you release the series in avi files or smaller resolution (704×400) of mkv files, because it’s “choppy” and the video and audio are not synchronize when I watch on my PC.
I love this series, so I hope it is not too much to ask. Thanks for listening.
Edo: Small AVI release of 1,2 and 3 are out while episode 4 will be released soon.
Hey! I seeded for a few hundred GB last time. Where’s my email?
Thank you so much for the fix….
Was going into withdrawal.

gomen ne ^^
Love your version! (and I don’t think your subs sucks O_o)
THANKS!
For some reason, I can’t get your subs to work, that or certain parts of the show were not subbed. I’ve jumped around, and all I can manage to get displayed is the opening. The latest version of CCCP is installed as well (as in, 5 minutes before posting this, I uninstalled the one I had, and reinstalled straight from the website)
Edo: O_O. The opening and ending is hardsubbed while others is softsubbed. Have you check whether your DirectVobSub filter is enabled or set to show subtitles? The settings we used is the same with the previous episodes.
Anyway, we will look into this matter seriously. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Toshokan Sensou 4 (1024×720)
Is the one I downloaded BTW
LOL @ SCREENSHOT.
Thank you for this, btw
Thank you Ocha!
ratio: 87:1 /me gets bored of seeding
you kids crack me up… i’ll do what i can for the seeding but i don’t want my bro to loose his job just quite yet ^^;
WHEE!
I’m not getting any subs. It just displays the video and audio tracks.
This is the first time this has happened to me (at least in a very very long while) with a fansub.
Any notes on this?
Edo: Try to check your DirectVobSub settings. We used the same settings for previous episodes. We will look into this matter seriously. Sorry for the inconvenience caused T_T.
Worse case, you can always download our XviD version for now. T_T
Stupid question, but where can I get your XviD Version? Mine (1024×720) isn’t working fine, too.
The subs keep slowing down my computer and then my VLC player crashes.
I don’t have any problems with your former episodes though.
Edo: Lol, you can always check it at the Ocha!Subs page.
The XviD version works flawlessly. Previous episodes subbed by you also work. Just this one does not.
Oh, i forgot, mysteriously, the OP and END are subbed (static?), everything else isn’t.
Edo: The OP and ED are usually hardsubbed
There’re 2 other ways where you can still load the subtitle file that’s muxed in the .mkv file that you downloaded.
——
1) If you’re using Media Player Classic, go to Play -> Subtitles -> Enable.
BUT before that, you have to make sure that your DirectShow Video is set at VMR7 or VMR9 Renderless. [View -> Options -> Playback -> Output -> Direct Show Video -> VMR7 (renderless) or VMR9 (renderless)]
——
2) If you have the CCCP Codec Pack installed, you can always use the Zoom Player that comes with it to play this episode. (Assuming you have the player installed when you installed the CCCP Codec).
——
Hope this helps. If none of the above methods work, you can always download our subtitle script as provided and load it manually.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
My problem with all the MKV’s released so far is that the audio and video don’t sync up, it goes all choppy as well as constant random freezes/skips/blackouts, and the subs are delayed.
They are all disasters and keep forcing me to download the AVI versions… Even the OP and END which should be hard subbed show up grossly out of sync and do the same.
It kills me since I like this series and can’t enjoy it at full res. I’ve tried CCCP, Media Player Classic, and VLC all without any luck.
Also tried changing the video renderer numerous times from VMR7->VMR9->Haali’s with different disasterous results.
Sounds like I’m boned T_T
Ashlynne: Audio, video and subs not syncing means that your computer is probably not… powerful enough to handle the file.
AND since the OP and ED are hardsubbed, it’s not at all surprising that the karaoke subs are delayed in your situation? Because you see, those subs are “burned” onto the frames that make up the video. When the video frames lag (ie they play out slower than your audio) you are bound to see the subs after you hear the sound.
I hope that clears up all doubts about video/audio/subs lagging/not syncing/delaying/skipping/dropping a few frames etc.
I’ve found out that K-Lite Codec Pack would solve the problem of subtitles not showing in our MKV release of Toshokan Sensou episode 04.
I would suggest that you uninstall all the other codecs/codec packs (yes, CCCP included) before you install K-Lite Codec Pack. Version 3.8.5.0 Standard is good enough for your player (I’m using Media Player Classic v6.4.9.1) to load the subtitles automatically. Well at least this works for me.
Of course, you can always get the latest/updated KLCP v3.9.0 Standard here. It comes with the latest version of Media Player Classic v6.4.9.1 too.
Hope this helps. =)

PS: IMHO, KLCP PWNS CCCP.
PPS: WOW for the first time I can actually play the OP of Gattai’s 1280×720 H264 Macross Frontier WITHOUT LAGGING! Sure, some frames did freeze occasionally on my not-very-powerful-four-year-old notebook, but generally the playback is quite smooth. If you experience audio/video syncing problem (like me), you might wanna try KLCP for a change. Even if it doesn’t solve the problem of video/audio/subs lagging/not syncing/delaying/skipping/dropping a few frames, I think it does help alleviate it.
PPPS: I should’ve found out about this earlier T_T KLCP banzai!
Thank you sooo much for the epi, the quality of subs has gotten a lot better too!!! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your releases of Library Wars! And I also think your subs aren’t suck. Looking forward for your next work.
MY KARAOKE!! I SEES IT!!!!
Edo: Lol. Thanks for the karaoke ^_^
