i really really like the xxx holic..its so nice..especially yuuko…and im so sad the time when shes gone…and watanuki stay in the store while waiting for yuuku to be back…there so many twist in the story…and its also connect to tsubasa…i read the manga of xxx holic…hope youre going to watch it…

Oh, Pawnshop No. 8! How nostalgic! You reminded me of those days when I was staying with my family and had a TV to watch those dramas XD

Erm to be honest I didn’t watch too much of Pawnshop No. 8. But now that you reminded me about it, I think both xxxHolic and Pawnshop No. 8 do share some similar themes… However I can’t remember much about the drama though.

Haha, I’m from Malaysia so I don’t really know if they do pinky swear in the US as I’ve never seen such things from American’s shows or dramas. But in Asia people do it in real life, just like I did when I was still a kid.

I haven’t watched xxxHolic yet, since most summaries just didn’t catch my interest.

But I was wondering; doesn’t the storyline sound a lot like the cdrama Pawnshop No. 8??? I didn’t watch a lot of that drama, since it’s got the usual trashy chinese quality, but your summary sounds pretty similiar to what I learned about Pawnshop No. 8…

About the entwining of the little fingers thingy: I know about it from America. Don’t they call it “pinky swear” in the US? That would imply that they do it, too.
Personally I’m from Europe and I’ve never seen anyone in real life do it…
