NaviX was suppose to cover this week episode, but since he’s unavailable, I’m gonna have to cover for him.

Episode Summary :

Well I guess it was true about the speculation that Hei’s power is now sealed, but he’s still alive, just no contractor powers. Anyway, Suou’s meteor core seems to cause the device that was restraining Hei to overload thus destroying it.

NOW I'VE LOST IT...

Unfortunately for Suou, it seems that she has become an contractor. Guided by a mysterious voice, Suou pushes Hei into a nearby icy water in order to escape. The pursues Shizume Genma and Hazuki Mina were too late to capture them, but Genma finishes off August instead.

R.I.P August. Well, at least you had a longer airtime than the Russian contractor from episode 1.

Yeah, apparently this season BONES hates MI6. All the contractors from MI6 are dead.

First Yin now Suou, Hei you pedophile.

Back to Hei, he wakes up from his sleep after having a dream about Yin again. As Suou approaches him, he quickly apprehends her and tie her up. Suou then wonders why is this all happening and accused Hei being able to kill even someone he loves. This angers Hei, causing him to slap Suou. Later while Suou is sleeping, Hei seems to be talking to a very familiar voice, who appears to be Mao ! Yeah, Mao still lives ! Mao says he’s working for the same women that Hei is working, and he is there to give Hei new orders.

Oh Nika, you still haven't given up on Tanya. I'm sure she feels the same way....

OH SHIT. No Tanya, not with the 'Just as planned' face !

As for Nika, he still hasn’t given up on Tanya and tries to convince her to return with him. However he is unaware that the Russian military asked Tanya to use him in order to find Suou.

Hei and Suou planned to go to Tokyo near the Hell Gate in order to find Shion.

No more Chinese Batman, Hei now is Chinese James Bond.

As they reach the train station, Hei distracts and battles with the Russian military while asking Suou to run to the train.

Hazuki OWNS all the soldiers with her lightsaber.

While the military eyes were on Hei, suddenly Hazuki attacks them and Genma rammed a train causing a explosion and chaos.

Mother Rusia, Tanya still looks hot even with those dead eyes.

As for Suou, while she was trying to escape, she caught up with Tanya, who demands her to tell where is Shion. While she’s talking to Suou, Hei jumps from above and ready to kill her, but Suou ask him to stop, causing Hei to hesitate, allowing Tanya summons her incests. Both of them escape in order to hide, but then Hei ask Mao to take care of Suou while he gives a distraction in order to let Suou escape.

Pecha !?

No, its good ol' Mao to the rescue !

Appearing out of nowhere, Mao who is now in Pecha guides Suou in order to escape. Guess the speculations were right, Mao lives in Pecha ! Though I’m gonna miss the cat, its good to have him back ! The music that played when he appeared was kinda funny, like welcoming the sidekicks return.

Man, this dude would have been a good husbando. Still not giving up.

Suou tries to reason with Tanya on why she is doing this, reminding her about their friendship, but Tanya seems not interested and only want to know about Shion. While they were talking, Nika appears beaten up, still asking and hoping for Tanya to come back with him.

Rest in peace Nika. You were a true bro.

This annoys Tanya, thus commanding all the insects to swarm Nika, killing him.

...I KNOW I CAN KILL.

Meteor necklace, a convenient way to carry weapons.

Angry Russion Loli is angry.

Sadden and enraged of what she saw, Suou’s contractor powers awaken and a PTRD-41 come out from her necklace. Guided by July’s voice, she fire a shot to Tanya side, knocking her unconscious. Then she shots towards Genma and Hazuki, although didn’t kill them, and then near a oil tank that was swarming with Tanya’s insects, causing an explosion thus killing it. She hesitant to take the last shot when she was aiming towards Tanya for the kill. Lucky for her Hei stops her, and she fell unconscious.

Hei now has to babysit 2 kids, LOL.

As Mao, Hei and Suou escapes, they meet up with July. Hei then ask July to follow them.

MISAKI !

Of course its not Misaki without glasses.

During this period of time, Misaki seems to be wondering about the disappearance of the star and BK201, but Kanami ask her that to forget it and find a new man. Later when she’s in her office, she contacts her old subordinate Saitou to ask more about contractors, but unfortunately he can’t reveal any information she since is exiled. While talking, Saitou warns Misaki about Section 3 and to not trust anyone from that section.

GOLGO 13 !?

Suddenly, Golgo 13 a member of Section 3 walks in to her office and tells her that if she’s interested in joining them in order to find BK201. He persuades her that she can’t find him as she is now. As Saitou was wondering if Misaki is still on the line, she puts her phone down. Meanwhile Hei, along with Mao and July successfully boards a ship. Mao was wondering where was Yin, Hei was about to talk about it, but then pauses mid-sentences and declares that he will kill ‘her’. I’m not really sure who Hei meant, but I’m pretty sure that ‘her’ isn’t Yin. I could be the blonde girl, but definitely not Yin or Misaki. As for Suou, she appears to be folding origami, as part of her remuneration.

Thoughts :

WOW, what can I say really ? DtB is really shaping up to become one of the best anime of this season. I mean, it gets better and exciting each episode.

Not so MOE Suou

I don’t think Suou is fully a contractor. It could be that she can only activate her powers due the meteor necklace, and it looks like she’s not able to control her powers yet, proven the fact that she only activates it while she’s in anger.

Got bullets ?

Still, I wonder where did she get those bullets? From her jacket ? I mean I only saw the weapon coming out, no bullets or anything. One things for sure her powers are very magical girl-ish, lol.

Damn you Tanya, what happened to you ?

As for Tanya, I’ve got to say I pretty much hate her now for what she did to Nika. This just proves that she pretty much was swayed by power and position. Its a known fact from season 1 that Contractors have emotions, and I doubt she’s emotionless, unless it could be that the military did some experiments on her. Still, I think its pretty selfish of her to abandon Nika and Suou for her own personal motives.

Damn, I want Yin, not July !

Also, I guess July is gonna stick with us and replace Yin’s role. Its kinda obvious since he’s in the OP.

Oh, Hei’s techno song seems to be back as a battle music, but it kinda sucks since Hei’s powerless now. Overall it was a good episode, I really can’t wait to see how it goes from here now that they are going back to Japan soon.
