As I said last week, I will drop this series if it continues to go this path, and I’m afraid and sadly I’m gonna have to drop it.
Introducing this character as a ’stripper lady urban legend’ totally ruins the fun. She’s actually one of the important characters in the series, and yes she does strip, but you don’t have to go make it as a full blown episode or urban legend nonsense about it. One the positive side, I like her character and how she’s portray in the anime, a person who has no sense self-awareness of a women. I’m just not happy how J.C Staff introduce her in the anime, they made it less dramatic and lighthearted. Also, I didn’t like how they are exploiting her ’strip-when-feeling-hot’ charm. She isn’t all about fanservice and boobs you know.
The only saving grace for me in this episode is the tsundere moments between Mikoto and Touma. Thank god this time Touma had more airtime and actually a role here in this episode. The battle between Mikoto and Touma was awesome too, especially when Mikoto forge the iron sword. The part when Touma pretended too lose was hilarious.
Unfortunately, even with Touma thrown in also it isn’t enough for me to continue blogging about it. I’m pretty much disappointed on how they are changing the series to be lighthearted and slice of life. So many awesome for the manga moments are ruin with unnecessary changes. I’ll probably follow it after its complete, but I won’t be blogging about it. From next week episode preview, I think they will show how Kuroko and Uihara were during their younger days in judgement, which is a speacial chapter from volume 3. Again, use those special chapters as bonus for DVD’s J.C Staff, not as an episode.

Awww. And I thought having The Major voicing a deadpan stripper scientist made it somewhat interesting.
Oh, the MAJOR ! No wonder she sound so awesome.
Yeah, I like her character, but I just can’t bear watching J.C Staff butcher the series anymore. Perhaps this is the reason why I shouldn’t have read the manga before the anime.
