Again, NaviX was suppose to handle this but since he’s busy ( AGAIN ), I’m gonna have to cover this for him. My Kimi ni Todoke post will be a bit late since I’m having problem downloading that episode.
This week not much of plot of action going on, but we do have plenty of character development as well some comedy moments. Basically this episode was about Hei training Suou becoming a contractor.
As for Suou, I’m not really sure is she really losing all of her emotions, or is she just holding it in. I do recall that contractors have emotions, however they use the most rational decision in any situation. So I get a feeling that she’s merely holding it in or she’s behaving like this because she hates the living guts of Hei.
As for Hei, it was nostalgic seeing him the Li like he was in season 1.
But I have to say he’s turning more like Huang. I really hope he shaves and changes this personality later, its really doesn’t suits him, and the unshaven look makes him appears like a rapist and alcoholic. Well, he’s been drinking it a lot lately.
On other note, this episode pretty much confirms that Hazuki is GAY. The fact she licks herself and try to make advance on Misaki pretty much confirms it. Of course, not that I’m complaining heh. Does this BONES are actually going for Hei X Misaki route ?
Suou really had it tough, getting her butt whipped and toss around by Hei. Well, I guess its all part of the training.
I really LOL-ed at the ‘Undulation‘ part. Suou’s face expression and the belly dancing kind of music makes it more funny.
‘WHY SO SERIOUS’ ? Pretty much the reaction I get when I saw these forced smiles. July’s smile was the most amusing one. I guess Yin’s teaching works.
Like Nathan Drake said in Uncharted 2, karma’s a bitch Mao. I wonder why he didn’t just swap body with the cat ?
God I hate Norio. Reminds of me that detective from season 1, though I guess he’s need to show Suou is have her emotions. Suou should have just shot him at point blank.
Let see how next episode well go. Like I said before, DtB is really shaping to become something awesome, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all.

Yea, I think Suou is just holding it in as well. In the episode preview, you notice her crying (although she’s not putting a lot of emotion into it), so I guess it’s safe to assume that she still has a bit of herself in there. I’m really hating Hei this season, but I do hope we get to find out more about his relationships with Yin ;3
It makes me sad too =(
I must admit that I did like the belly dancing. The animation was pretty groovy during that segment =3
I’m pretty sure in time they will reveal that. I’m more curious and interested in seeing why did Hei turn into his present state. You know, the alcoholic Hei.
That part was pretty funny but awesome at the same time. Not only the animation, but the music accompanying it suits it well.
You’ll never see a drunken Chinese man teaching a Russian loli about belly dancing.
lolz!
