LOL, if you notice, some of the magazine scans shows Hei with a clean look, so I think he will shave soon or later, but probably not how this 4koma strip is showing lol.

Has anyone noticed Hei has not used his contractor abilities since he was captured in that bubble?

Although not explain yet in the anime, it is highly possible that Hei’s power has been sealed / transferred to Suou, therefore now he doesn’t have his contractor abilities. Remember the fading star that Misaki saw at the end of episode 2 ? That means he no longer have his contractor powers.

I noticed there was a time since when he had opportunity and motivation to do so, but hesitated and killed the guy w/out them.

It’s more like he was unable to use his ability, that’s why he looks like he hesitated. To me it looked it he realize that he’s less powerful without his contractor abilities.

I’m pretty much disappointed and disturb seeing him with this current appearance. Him being an alcoholic and ‘child abuser’ also isn’t helping.

I want my old Hei with a clean look, as well cooks and eats like nobody business.

when i saw hei for the first time in S2, my jaw dropped.
