Well, it turns out Michiru sudden visit to her husband and son was to make bake some cake because it was her remuneration. Before she leaves, she warns Norio beware of Suou.

As for Hei, it appears the truck he board was a trap and he has to face Genma . The armor that Genma makes looks AWFULLY FAMILIAR like a Xam’d from Bounen no Xamdou. No surprise there since both works are from the same studio.

Meanwhile Misaki arrives at the cargo with the original container that Hei was assigned to destroy. Hazuki, who was around the harbor with Misaki, sensed that Suou was around. She then went to pursue Suou, but then Mao found out and ask Suou to run. As Suou was running, she suddenly remembers about Hei, then decides to not run and assures Mao that she can do it, because she’s now an contractor. While running looking a spot to snipe, July tells Mao inside the container is a girl, who is actually Yin.

While fighting with Genma, Hei found out that the girl inside the container was actually Yin. Upon discovering this, Hei quickly escape from Genma by hitching a nearby car.

Steady...

YEAH SUOU DON'T SHOT MY WAIFU !

YYYYIIIIIINNNNNNN ! *sobs*

Back at the harbor, Suou finally finds a spot to snipe, ready to pull the trigger after confirming the target. Lucky in the nick of time, Hei arrives and diverts the shot to not shot the container. As the container falls to the ground, it reveals that Yin was inside.

Chinese Batman vs Japanese ninja round 2. Well, for a short while only.

Damn.

As Hazuki is approaching, Hei ask Suou and the rest to escape and regroup later while he distracts her. Misaki was worried that Hei might be able to use his contractor powers underwater as they use the submarine to transport the container, but Youko assures Misaki that Hei’s power is sealed. So for those who still in denial or not sure, that is a confirmation.

Wow, tentacle action !

Deja Vu

While waiting for Hei, Suou asked Mao about Yin. As Mao was explaining to her, suddenly Michiru appeared and grab suou with her water tentacles, trying to catch her. Suou uses her powers to scare Michiru. As Michiru was about to catch Suou, suddenly she was trapped in a pool of water and thus killing her. Norio, who heard that her mother was fighting with Suou came over, but only to find her mother dead. Before she escapes, Norio asked Suou if she killed her and why contractors can kill people so easily, reminded Suou how she said those words to Hei.

My contractor is wet if you know what I mean.

Yeah Hei.

Meanwhile, Hei asked Madame Oreille if she knew about it, and she did. Hei then tells her that he won’t take orders from her anymore since she’s not trustworthy, and she replies that Hei is the same, since he said he will ‘kill’ the Yin before this but unable too.

Be careful Misaki !

In the submarine, Misaki confirms with Youko that the container is the reason why Hei loses his power. Misaki then ask Youko about Section 3, but she replies that she’s unable to tell and warns Misaki not too trust her that much. She also assures Misaki as long they have the container, BK201 will surely pursue them.

OMG Hei's cooking ! HELL YEAH !

Suou finally smiles !

Meanwhile, Hei and the rest seem to take shelter at a new hideout. Not really sure whether they have arrived at Tokyo, but it does seem they have arrived at Japan. Suou wonders if Norio hates her now that he thinks she killed her mother, and at the same time wonders what it feels like to be in love. Suddenly she hears someone is cooking, and it appears to be Hei. Suou mentions she doesn’t like canned food because of the metal flavor, and Hei uses his last alcohol to remove the flavor. As Hei’s cooking, he tells Suou to not shot anymore, because it doesn’t suits her. As he seems to ran out of alcohol, he stops cooking and proceeds to go out. Suou assumes that he wants to be more alcohol, so she asked him not to stop drinking and in return she will no longer shoot, but actually Hei wants to go and buy vegetables. Suou smiles as she follows him to the store.

Huh ?

Poor Pole. Getting jealous are we Suou ?

On their way back from the store, Suou suddenly saw the Yin’s observation ghost approaching Hei but then disappear. She then kicks the pole where it appears from and continue following Hei back.

Thoughts

BONES continues to make this series becoming more interesting as the episodes progresses. Finally some plot is being revealed, that Yin is part of this anti-contractor device. How did this happen ? I’m sure it will be explain more in time. Norio’s scene was exactly like how Suou was, so I now doubt Hei actually killed Suou’s dad. Anther thing that made me happy in this episode is that Hei finally puts down alcohol for good ! It also appears that Suou is starting to feel love, not for Norio but possible for Hei. I’m pretty sure they have arrived at Japan, but not a tokyo yet.

For those who doesn’t know, BONES uploaded a trailer at the website ( you can download subbed version of the trailer at BSS website. ) for the upcoming DtB OVA, which seems to focus on Hei and Yin before season 2 while they were on the run. It looks pretty badass and filled with action, and most important of all, YinXHei moments. It’s really nostalgic seeing Hei like he was in Season 1 again, so I really can’t wait to see him like this soon for season two. Looks like there’s a Amber look a like, but I doubt it’s her. Perhaps a clone or a twin sister ?

The OVA will be coming out next year.
