The Russian organization, who is still investigating about Dr. Pavlichenko and Shion, discovers that Dr. Pavlichenko still lives from a picture that was taken in Tokyo.
This was quite surprising and caught me off guard. I though he was dead, but now this is indeed a mystery how did he survive. Could be the one that as killed was a decoy ?
As for Misaki, she still unable to find much information on Izanami. As she was hanging around the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, suddenly Genma appears. He then express his desire to also know the information that the top brass have, so asked Misaki if she would like to cooperate with him. Of course I believe Genma has a different agenda, but his using Misaki’s desire to know more about Izanami and BK201 to his advantage.
As for Hei and company, all lot of people are looking for them, and its seems very hard for them to get out of Hokkaido in order to get to Tokyo. Hei therefore decides to hire someone from the underground to help smuggle them out through the checkpoints.
So, the lady ends up disguising July as a corpse and Hei and Suou as the grieving family. I got to pity July here. Although your a doll, pretending as a corpse must really suck. Along they way after they have passed a checkpoint, the car Hei and Suou was in gets a flat tire, but the car with July and the lady doesn’t stop. Hei and Mao concludes that the lady wanted to steal and sell July, but Hei also adds that its a waste of time to go after July.
Suou disagrees and feels that July wants to be helped, so she climb a nearby car which July send his observation ghost to follow the car.
Finally Suou reaches an abandon warehouse where July is being held captive, thanks to July’s observation ghost.
She attacks the lady with some glass shards that she pick up earlier, nearly killing the lady until Mao stops her. I think this was pretty merciless of Suou. I mean, I know she betrayed them, but I didn’t think that there was any reason to torture her right ? Also, Suou must have a pretty strong throw to be able to do such damage.
While Suou was rescuing July, suddenly a a Contractor known as Ilya Sokolov appears, capturing Suou, July and Mao. I laugh at Mao who still thinks himself as a cat.
It appears that his power is able to induce drugged states in people’s brains, as he kills the lady who betrays Hei and the company earlier. Not a very cool power in my opinion, but oh well.
Lucky for Suou and company, as Ilya was driving them away, Hei caught up and strangle the man to death. I’m really not liking with BONES introducing new contractors every week but killing them off so quickly. To me they should at least give them a moment to shine, not waste their potential. Oh, Hei’s techno theme returns ! It felt like a Batman’s theme to me, especially how he appeared lol. Why the hell Hei wore back his ugly purple suit ?
Later, the group boards a train, but little they realize that Repnin ( from the Russian organization ) and Tanya also board the same train.
Overall this week episode is pretty much a filler / slow episode in terms of plot. I hope the pacing will get faster, since I’ve just found out that this series will only be a 12-episode show. I wouldn’t want them to stuff everything in one episode later. Also I notice the production quality is getting bad, I just hope they didn’t blast all the budget for the earlier episodes, or they might be saving it for future action packed episodes.
Next week episode shows that Suou confronts with Tanya. Hopefully she’ll shot the living hell out of Tanya. Judging also from next week episode preview, I think they most probably will arrive at Tokyo.

July was very cute in this ep ❤ And the action sequence when Hei killed that psycho almost made me fall in love with him again, almost ^ ^;
