Having not found anything inspirational lately to write about, other than my watch-list for the current anime season, I thought it’d be nice if i shared some of the photos I took at the London MCM Expo I attended last week.

Having said that, I have generated a fair amount of anger over my comments and opinion on the Expo, particularly over the cosplay segment. And furries.

In any case, I consider the matter solved and not to be pursued further.

So here’s photos of the event instead!

We Ochans have been busy with our real life agendas like being part of various major ACG conventions in Malaysia. As for me, I was the director of one of the biggest ACG event in Malaysia and my life’s schedule has been haywire. As if i’m not busy enough with the “one of the biggest ACG event”, I’m also part of the organizing team of “the biggest ACG event” in country. Same goes with the others, busy with life… like facing brain-numbing exams.

While we are still busy with our work with various events in the country, there are times where we were itchin’ to write stuff up about anything.

I’ll be blunt, I do loose my momentum and there are times where I just lost my mood in writing. Ensuring that this site never gets cold again, I managed to get more passionate writers and we’ll try our best to make this site lively again. ^_^

My life has been hectic and horribly unorganized now after my PC died few months back. So, how about others? Where did we go missing?

MY COMPUTER IS ALIVE AGAIN!

I’m stuck with EMiNA Japanese Animation Club ( our university’s anime club ) works. I know, I’m supposed to be a retired member ( and Ocha! is my retirement project ) but heck, I can’t leave the club just like that after seeing “things” happened differently than I tawt.

Plus, added with my broken PC ( fixed now, XD ) my anime feed schedule went haywire. I had a hard time tracking for anime now. Not cool. But don’t worry, I’m catching up fast now ( at least for Macross Frontier and Code Geass ).

I’ll start writing again this week, yay! Screw other things! I still need to release that Toshokan Sensou batch.

Being the new President and the new secretary of the club, life is not as free as it used to be for them, I guess. Clubs registration week for freshies just ended and they got a lot of freshies in the club to take care of now. Don’t worry, they’ll be back after everything settles down in few weeks time.

Still the President of our anime club in different campus, and same case like HolyCow and Miso-soup, torturing handling the new freshies.

After done with the subbing works, she’s focusing on her coming internship period in months time, NOT. She’s taking a slight break now after those hectic subbing work. She’ll be back in few weeks time.

There. I shall focus on my new post now. Hmm.

Currently, some of our key members aren’t exactly available to work on the subs. Most of us, [including Ash and myself] have only recently started the new university semester, so we’re kind of tied up with registrations and some other paperwork nonsense. Edo’s PC is still dead, so don’t expect to hear from him anytime soon.

Remember what I said about me being busy few days ago trying to finish my assignments? Yeah, I’m still on it but things got complicated : My PC’s bios fried. So, I can’t do my “heavy” assignments with my pc until it’s fully repaired.

Ok, Enough with my personal updates.

I feel that this site need a major upgrade… cosmetically. Don’t ya think the previous layout feels a bit claustrophobic?

The site might look weird here and there for now, I’m ironing it out now.
There’s still errors with the comment function. Sigh.

I prepared a new theme for this site. Based on “Unstandard“, inspired by Minimum Tempo and heavily modified myself. It’s widgetized too ^_^. Old crappy pc, notepad and “functioning” photoshop is all I had. I had to do this to keep myself occupied while waiting for my PC to be restored @_@. Time to focus on improving the content now.

Since my PC’s dead, I can’t do my encoding work properly now, but don’t worry, someone will take over my job temporarily ( /stare at tl checker ).

Toshokan Sensou 08 sub will be released a bit late due to bad schedules and.. parents. Ashlynne the translator went off to see her parents in her hometown. Her hometown’s internet connection is BAD. Really BAD.

And I, will be stuck in front of my computer trying to finish my assignments which involves heavy graphic work hence video encoding is a no no.

You guys don’t mind the subs to be released a few days late rite? Thanks, love you guys ^_^

Sigh.

First of all, I’m really really sorry. Gomen gomen. >_<

I'm quite aware that we have distro problem and it's quite a serious of a problem. I understand that. This is my first time distributing my torrent file, and please pardon me for that. OTL

For now, what I can do is to "physically" distribute the copy to my coursemates and friends to seed the file. Please bear with me for a while for this 3 episodes. T_T

For the coming releases, we will get a better seeder with a better internet connection. We will set up a DCC bot too. We will try to perform better next time. For those who's willing to seed this anime, your help is deeply appreciated.

Currently i'm HTTP uploading the files to my server, and will distribute it to the dedicated seeders. We receive quite a lot of volunteers so I hope that for the next episode, things will go smoother than this.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience caused. T_T

Currently I found another server with 40GB transfer limit to accompany my 50GB transfer limit server. Should be good for distro-ing works.

PS: I’m so scared that I refuse to use my computer to make sure my PC doesn’t hang or something which would lead to expected reboot O_O

We decided that this anime required more love and we feel dedicated to release our own subbing version.

For episode 1, we used TV Tokyo’s raw and the subtitles are physically distorted. Episode 2, we’ll use Alex-Kpek’s raw and for episode 3, Zero-Raws.

We apologize if the standard of the sub is not up to par with your standards. We’ll try to improve the subbing quality episode by episode. T_T

Anime, J-drama, music, PV, manga, seiyuu and the like are all part of Japanese visual culture although most the time we’ll talk more on anime stuffs, because… we love anime. I mean, we ‘worship’ anime.
